An air jet loom machine is a shuttle less weaving equipment that uses jet stream to insert the weft through the shed.
It utilizes air as the medium for weft insertion. The compressed air ejected generates frictional traction on the weft yarn, pulling it through the shed. The weft insertion is achieved by the jet flow produced by the air jet.
Nozzle System: It consists of a main nozzle and relay nozzles. The main nozzle initially propels the weft yarn, and the relay nozzles along the way assist in guiding and propelling the yarn to ensure it smoothly passes through the entire shed.
Warp Feeding and Let-off Mechanism: Supplies the warp yarn at a constant speed and tension, ensuring a stable weaving process.
Shedding Mechanism: Controls the separation of warp yarns to form the shed for the weft yarn to pass through. It can be a dobby shedding mechanism or a jacquard shedding mechanism, enabling the weaving of various patterned fabrics.
Beating-up Mechanism: Beats the weft yarn into place after each insertion to form a tight and even fabric structure.
Take-up Mechanism: Winds up the woven fabric at a proper speed to maintain the continuity of the weaving process.
High Speed and High Efficiency: It has a high weaving speed and can achieve a high weft insertion rate, resulting in high production efficiency. For example, some air jet looms can insert up to 2200 meters of pick every minute.
Wide Adaptability: It can handle a variety of yarns, including cotton, wool, man-made fibers, and their blends. It is suitable for weaving different types of fabrics such as denim, sheets, towels, sports apparel, and industrial fabrics.
Low Noise and Vibration: Operates with relatively low noise and vibration levels, providing a better working environment.
